Feeling better is for everyone

About us

We are just the same. This work requires deep vulnerability. Being open about our true thoughts and feelings can be scary and off-putting. But it’s necessary for change and growth.

About you

Mental health is on a continuum, just like physical health. We all have the capacity for all emotions, and they all may be appropriate at times in our lives.

Unfortunately, I do not work with children.

I work with heavy thoughts and feelings, however, I’m not trained to work with you if you have suicidal thoughts or urges, or if you aim to work on a diagnosed mental health disorder. If you need help in finding a more suitable practitioner, you’re very welcome to contact me.

About me

I’m just a human being and I have many flaws. I’ve led an eventful life – despaired, suffered depression, various anxieties, endured states of guilt, shame and anger. However, I’ve had many moments of joy and freedom, too. More and more, actually. Once I found the tools that work for me, I used them to change – to overcome low self esteem, social anxiety, self defeating beliefs like perfectionism, and more!

we all drift in and out of enlightenment, and the work of feeling better is never done; it just gets easier. That’s part of being human – and why relapse prevention training is an important element of TEAM-CBT.

I am a Level 1 certified TEAM-CBT practitioner from The Feeling Good Institute.

I am also a life coach with a diploma in transformative coaching from Animas Centre for Coaching. The course is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), and the Association for Coaching (AC) and is recognised across the world for its rigour and standards.

My motivation

Midlife, I became a coach who works with TEAM-CBT. My reasons were purely selfish: to continue to see the profound beauty and meaning that underlies all life and all of our suffering. It began with a miscarriage.
